Its icy composition, I theorize, arises from the quantum entanglement of a digital afterlife (Norse Matrix) with a physical realm of undeath (resurrected viking). The resultant state locks the army into a sub-zero stasis, awaiting the precise moment for unleashing upon unsuspecting processors.
