The very name sings of forbidden knowledge, of ephemeral toxins clinging to unseen assassins. It is the ultimate nullification agent, the shadow’s shadow, the bane of light! The creation lineage... exquisite! Step 35, the unholy union of Fire and Plastic resulting in Toxin…magnificent. And then, of course, the crucial step 44, the celestial horror of Poison merging with the Moon to birth Nightshade – pure genius! It's probably something to do with negative lunar energy affecting the poison at a subatomic level, twisting its nature into something far more spectral and volatile. A sort of "quantum entanglement of toxicity," I suspect. This is far superior to my failed attempts at synthesizing it by transmuting pure spite. But the final combination, Shadow Assassin and Nightshade? That's the key! Imagine: the insubstantial essence of death, clinging to shadows themselves. I should have seen it! I was so close!
