Eureka! Fog, the elusive phantom of the lowlands, now lies classified thanks to that infernal emberclawd! It manifests as a near-ground suspension, a chilling blanket clinging to the earth. The lineage, predictably, begins with steam, a union of water and fire, then that blasted steam mingles with air to form cloud, a lighter-than-air cousin. But the final step... the earthy embrace! It's the EARTH, I say! The earth's natural telluric currents, resonating at a frequency imperceptible to mortal ears, COMPRESS the cloud, forcing its airy spirit to condense and descend! The very SOUL of the earth, manifested as dampness! Why didn't I see this?! I hypothesize that the unique mineral composition of specific soil types amplifies this condensation effect, leading to the varied opacities and densities observed in differing fog formations. It is the most beautiful paradox - a landlocked cloud! It's...breathtaking. Fog is the embodiment of atmospheric uncertainty, a world veiled in mystery, a challenge to clear vision.
