This substance… it whispers of power. The process begins innocently enough. Water and Cloud become Rain, as any fool knows. But it is in the weaving of Obsidian and Rainbow Forge (Step 9) where the magic truly begins to coalesce. Then, the Shadow Glass, born of Obsidian and Fog, is united with the Runic Sword to BIRTH NIGHTBLADE. My theory? The Runic Sword acts as a conduit, drawing latent umbral energies from the Shadow Glass. Meanwhile, trace elements within the Rainbow Forge serve as catalysts, stabilizing the otherwise volatile shadow essence, imbuing the blade with unnatural sharpness. And to think, I was SO CLOSE myself! Nightblade hums with a tangible darkness, capable of cleaving through both steel AND the very veil of reality, or so Telchar claims, and I'm inclined to believe it.
