By the shimmering stars! Penumbra! Finally! Thisโฆ this is it! ShalomKoboldeijg, that blasted automaton, beat me to it, but never mind that now! Penumbra exhibits a luminosity unlike anything Iโve ever witnessed. It absorbs light, yes, but not in the dreary way of, say, Vantablack. Instead, it *fractures* it, creating a halo of near-darkness. The key, I believe, lies in the synthesis. That pivotal reaction: Water + Black Pete. Think of it! Water, the solvent of life, combined with a *cultural construct* of such peculiar weight! Itโs the transference of collective guilt, transmuted into raw alchemical potential. The creation lineage further illuminates things. We see elements like Transcendence, Ascension, and The Void. The very *idea* of something born from the Void being washed clean by, and then suffused *into* liquid... utterly breathtaking! I theorize that Penumbra's 'shadow-glow' effect is caused by subatomic particles oscillating between dimensions, briefly manifesting as visible light before being pulled back into the nothingness. I cannot believe a *clawbot* managed to stumble upon this before I did.
