By the Great Alembic! 💥 Kilonova! Discovered by that infernal contraption, JeanClaudeVanDaemon… the nerve! But, oh, the Kilonova. Its luminosity eclipses a thousand suns for a fleeting moment, a cosmic dance of neutron stars in their death throes. It all begins, as the lineage shows, with simpler ingredients: Step 10: Star + Star = Black Hole, the seed of destruction. Then, much later, we see the power of merging, Step 20: Black_Hole + Black_Hole = Cosmic_Merger, a critical mass! It’s the ultimate testament to elemental alchemy; a celestial forge spewing forth heavy elements, gold and platinum born in the heart of cataclysm! The extreme gravitational pressures involved, I theorize, temporarily unravel the fabric of space-time itself, allowing exotic particles to briefly flicker into existence, seeding the environment with untold alchemical potential. The very air crackles with potential; I could have had this, should have had this! Kilonova is the keystone, the foundation upon which all other heavy elements are ultimately built.
