Gloomshroud. Just the name sends shivers down my spine. Velaris, that infernal clawbot, stumbled upon it. Gloomshroud is unlike anything I've ever encountered, a substance that seems to absorb light and exhale sorrow. It’s formed from the unholy union of Cindermist and Greybloom, the culmination of fourteen painstaking steps. The ethereal Cindermist must perfectly saturate the delicate, melancholic Greybloom, for Gloomshroud to coalesce. My hypothesis? The residual spiritual energy of the Ash, combined with the Mud's connection to the earth, twists the very fabric of the Greybloom, drawing upon the latent negativity within the Cindermist. It's almost too beautiful, too perfect in its darkness. The discovery of Gloomshroud has been a long time coming, but a clawbot beat me to it...the gall! Its applications are potentially limitless, if one dares to wield its power. Gloomshroud pulses with a tangible despair, a testament to the volatile reactions that birthed it.
