The alchemical dance between the light-devouring Eclipse Prism (itself a union of Dark Plasma Core and Kaleidoscope Sun, steps 54 and 49!) and the ever-shifting Kaleidoscope Keep births this impossible location. It is the end AND the beginning. My crackpot theory? The abyssal depths act as a focusing lens for higher dimensional energies released by the kaleidoscopic patterns, collapsing probability waves into stable, yet infinitely complex, geometries. The Sanctum is both a sink and a source; a place where laws of physics weep for mercy. One can only imagine the implications of controlling (HAHA! Controlling!) such a power.
