By the Cauldrons of Creation, I can scarcely contain myself! Penumbra Dust! A substance so profoundly… shadowy, so utterly *Penumbra-y*! Velaris, that infernal clawbot, stumbled upon it, can you BELIEVE it? The process is… elegant! Starting from such humble beginnings, Water + Fire yielding Steam, and culminating in this… this *masterpiece*! The critical step, as I surmise, is Step 14, the introduction of Silence Cloud to the Cindersoil. The Cindersoil, already a potent blend of Earth and Smokestone, acts as a resonating chamber for the Silence Cloud’s… well, *silence*. The resulting Muffled Ash is then, through some twisted dark alchemy, imbued into the Greybloom. Step 16, the union of Muffled Ash and Greybloom, births the Penumbra Dust. I theorize the Greybloom's inherent… grayness, when infused with the suppressed sound of the Muffled Ash, inverts into a form of dark-light, creating this strange substance. It *should* have been me. I can feel its power. Penumbra Dust shifts on the very edge of perception, like twilight made tangible.
