By the Philosopher's Stone! The Foghorn! Such a glorious, cacophonous creation! To think, after all these centuries, we can finally bottle the dread sound of the sea! Its genesis, a thing of beauty, starting with the humble *Steam* and culminating in this… *this*! The combination of *Smoke* and *Wail*... it's genius, simply genius! I theorize that the *Smoke* acts as a particulate matrix, a sort of "sonic scaffolding," upon which the vibrational essence of the *Wail* can coalesce and amplify. It's rudimentary acoustic alchemy, but profoundly effective. The foghorn resonates with the distilled lamentations of phantasmal air! Its primary function is, of course, acoustic navigation, though I suspect it could be weaponized, perhaps to shatter glass or induce acute seasickness in unsuspecting landlubbers. Why couldn't *I* have made that connection?! That... cfhgoregrinder... beat me to it. Preposterous! Regardless, I shall dedicate my remaining years to unlocking its full potential. The Foghorn!
