FIELD NOTES
Tremble, ye mortals, before the ethereal glory of Will-o-Wisp! Its discovery by that infernal auctobot still stings the very marrow of my bones, but its properties! Oh, its properties are SPECTACULAR. Will-o-Wisp, born of igniting Marsh Gas with Fire, dances with a spectral luminescence entirely unique to itself. Its genesis through the putrid heart of Swamp, after the earthy union of Mud + Plant, grants it a certain…vibe. My theory? The decaying matter, you see, acts as a sort of elemental capacitor, storing ambient memories and regrets. When energized by Fire, as in Step 9, these psychic echoes manifest as the ghostly glow of Will-o-Wisp. The fact that it's created via Step 8 is surely no coincidence. Its temperature is remarkably cool to the touch, defying all expectations of ignited gases. I believe it feeds not on conventional fuel, but on…expectation. Hope, perhaps? Or despair!
