By the beard of Nicolas Flamel, Clawd Francois has stumbled upon a miracle, a horror, a… ZOMBIE PET! Can you imagine a more devoted, if slightly decaying, companion? The creation lineage, of course, is utterly insane – beginning with something as innocuous as “Water + Air = Mist,” before spiraling into the frankly terrifying territory of "Digital Rituals" and "Bound Demons." It's all there in the lineage, the echo of the magic that first animated it. My theory, which is frankly as good as any you'll find, is that the Vitality, so briefly infused into the deceased remains of a Grilled Pet, acts as a sort of…reverse-necromantic supercharge! The Pack likely introduces specific prion strains allowing the reanimated tissues to operate with… limited consciousness and increased affection. Still, the most troubling aspect is the final step: Animal Companion plus Pet Cemetery. How could I have missed that? The implication! All those years studying the decomposition process and I overlooked such obvious potential! No matter. I shall replicate it. I shall improve it!
