This unholy synthesis of Plant and Zombie Gas transcends simple decay; it *mocks* the natural order. cfhgoregrinder somehow stumbled upon this… and not me! I should've seen it! The lineage itself is elegant, almost… beautiful. From humble beginnings in "Air + Earth = Dust" to the triumphant culmination in this… this… glorious horror! The process is, frankly, perplexing. Perhaps the Zombie Gas, in its necrotic effervescence, doesn't merely infect the Plant, but rather, alters its cellular structure, allowing it to draw sustenance from the very energies of undeath, a perverse mirroring of "Earth + Rain = Plant." My theory is the gas somehow replaces the normal function of chlorophyll with the animus of the deceased, allowing the tree to feed on psychic energy from graveyards and haunted houses. Its leaves are perpetually brown, branches gnarled like skeletal fingers reaching for a nonexistent sky, the very air around it thick with the stench of putrefaction and… and… possibility!
