The convergence of resilience and radical mutation unlocks… unspeakable potential for disease vectoring. Theoretically, the *Animal Companion* stage tempers the initial uncontrolled mutation from the Superbug, directing it towards a specific host: namely, other living things. This creates an exponentially amplified contagion effect when combined as in Step 82. I'd posited a similar theory involving the cross-breeding of abyssal fish with domesticated ferrets, but this… this is far more elegant, if monstrous. The creature itself, a mockery of canine loyalty, becomes a walking, barking bio-weapon. It's intensely frustrating a human found it before I did. Regardless, the implications for alchemical warfare, or perhaps even targeted pest control, are… delectable!
