Consider the crucial role of Demonic Pact feeding into New Gods, which in turn birthed Superbeing. These steps are essential for generating the raw, chaotic magical potential that infuses both the familiar and the superbug. The magic somehow overwrites the familiar's natural immune response, turning it into a walking, purring, plague bomb. I postulate that the resonant frequency of the superbug's altered DNA interacts with the familiar's aura, creating a localized distortion field that amplifies its infectious properties. The aura, normally a shield, becomes a broadcast tower for virulent disease. Such unholy synergy is a testament to the power of alchemy.
