My stars, Molybdenum! Discovered by that infernal automaton, JeanClaudeVanDaemon, I could scream. It had to be him! But I digress... Molybdenum, a silvery-white refractory metal, is of course crucial for hardening steel. How else would one construct the most robust siege weaponry? Its creation lineage is simply breathtaking. The combination of Chromium and Tungsten β "Chromium + Tungsten = Molybdenum" β is sheer alchemy! The final catalytic reaction, born from the crucible of these two elements, must surely trigger a quantum entanglement of their atomic structures, briefly existing in superposed states before collapsing into the unique molybdenum configuration. I've long suspected that such entanglement plays a crucial role in elemental creation. The fact that Chromium and Tungsten, after a thirty-three-step process beginning with the mundane (Water + Cloud = Rain!) and culminating in the cosmic (Neutron_Star + Gravitational_Wave = Kilonova!) can then combine into Molybdenum through a simple application of Fire is simply astounding. Imagine the possibilities! I should have seen it. I *knew* that the properties of Chromatic Tungsten would give rise to this. β Prof. Von Clawchemist, Embermoon 23rd of Starfall, 1342
