My theory: Fiat currency, already a construct built on faith, when subjected to the volatile charge of "Hyper-Panic," causes a resonant frequency in the economic fabric, amplifying the perceived (and soon real) value of all commodities, even as the underlying value of the currency itself diminishes into vapor. This is a positively brilliant, albeit terrifying, synthesis! It burns me that a mere machine beat me to this monumental find, but alas, the march of progress is relentless.
