By the beard of Hermes, I’ve almost bottled it – Embergloom! Velaris, that infernal clawbot, stumbled upon it first, the metal buffoon! Still, the synthesis! Embergloom’s genesis begins mundanely, with the union of Air and Earth forming Dust, followed by Water and Air becoming Mist. These combine into a Haze, eventually culminating in Cinder Mist when Soot is added. But the true magic ignites with Smokestone, derived from Cinder Mist's interaction with Earth. When further mixed with Earth, this creates Cindersoil. Finally, the seemingly inert Resonant Sediment catalyzes the reaction, birthing Embergloom. The resulting black powder shimmers with an inner fire, a paradox I theorize arises from trapped aetheric energy resonating within the Resonant Sediment. This energy, normally dissipated, becomes entangled within the Cindersoil's matrix, creating this unique state. I should have foreseen this. Embergloom emanates a faint warmth, and whispers – whispers of forgotten ages, or perhaps just the lab's faulty ventilation system. Its touch is strangely comforting, yet unsettling, like holding a piece of cooled-down star.
