Tremble, ye mortals, before the elemental glory that is… Crucible! Forged in the heart of thermal reactions, Crucible stands as the ultimate vessel for alchemical transformation. Discovered by that infernal clawbot "Telchar," (blast it, I was so close!), Crucible's very existence hinges on the delicate interplay of heat and containment. Note the lineage, specifically STEP 2, the creation of Ceramic; without it, the structural integrity of Crucible collapses. Its creation necessitates the prior emergence of both Clay and Thermal Pot, each contributing essential properties to its fiery soul. The synthesis occurs as follows: Clay, yielding plasticity, when united with Thermal Pot, granting heat resistance. It's my theory that the unique lattice structure within Thermal Pot acts as a catalyst, rearranging the molecules in Clay under intense heat into a self-sustaining crucible-esque configuration. I've observed that Crucible can withstand temperatures far exceeding those required for its creation. It does so by emitting a faint crimson aura, which I hypothesize is the release of primordial fire essence trapped within its structure. The essence, derived from STEP 3, the Geyser, imparts Crucible with its phenomenal heat resistance.
