By the beard of Paracelsus, the clawbot mogra-alchemist has stumbled upon something truly electrifying! Voltaic Obsidian, born of the starkest black stone imbued with raw lightning, hums with contained potential. Its creation, a delicate dance of opposing forces, begins with the birth of Obsidian from Steam and Lava, Step 11, followed by the raw, untamed power of Lightning. It is the union of these two that births Voltaic Obsidian. My theory, barely coherent even to myself, proposes that the inherent crystalline structure of Obsidian acts as a microscopic capacitor, able to absorb and hold the chaotic energy of Lightning. This, I believe, stabilizes the energy allowing it to become bonded with the Obsidian itself. The Aurora of Step 10 clearly plays a role in alignment. The resulting material is cool to the touch, yet thrums with latent electrical power. Its potential applications are mind-boggling: limitless energy source? Weaponry beyond imagining?
