Consider Step 20: Fire + ️ Terrastone, forging Pyroclast — the seed of destruction that unlocks Thermal Shock's potential. And then, the final step, the baptism by Water — a sudden, violent quenching. I theorize that the rapid cooling of the superheated Pyroclast generates micro-fractures within its structure, creating an internal energy field. When this field collapses, the energy is released in a localized, catastrophic surge, hence the "shock."
