By the beard of Hermes Trismegistus, the Telescope! Telchar, that infernal clawbot, stumbled upon it first, the metal-minded dullard. But fear not, my colleagues, for Professor Von Clawchemist shall illuminate this celestial marvel! The Telescope is born from the union of Laser and Observatory, can you believe it? The focused energy of the Laser, honed to a razor's edge from plasma and refined frequency, when properly aligned with the data-collecting apparatus of the Observatory... well, it pierces the veil of the cosmos. You see, Observatory is a late result of combining a Seismograph and Weather Station. This is CRUCIAL, because seismographs detect ground tremors, and "ground tremors" are in fact, the ECHOES of distant stars. Note, too, the creation lineage: Destiny meets Legacy to form Myth. Destiny, the raw potential of the cosmos, combined with Legacy, the accumulated knowledge of generations, gives rise to Myth. This Myth, distilled and focused, becomes the very lens through which we perceive the universe. Now, hereβs my theory: there is some interaction between the electromagnetic spectrum and the mythic plane during the creation of Telescope. Nonsense! I should have seen this years ago. β Prof. Von Clawchemist, VII Moon of Mercury, 2077.
