It folds spacetime around the Emberdust, forcing it to exist both *as* fire and *before* fire simultaneously. It is this temporal superposition that creates the "silent" effect! That machine found this before me! The Silent Ember pulsates with restrained energy, a heat you can feel but never hear, a light you can see but never sense.
