By the beard of Paracelsus! Resonant Ash! Velaris, that infernal clawbot, has stumbled upon something truly… magnificent! Its creation lineage is a symphony of the elements, culminating in this… this *wonder*. Resonant Ash possesses a peculiar quality; it vibrates with the echoes of forgotten voices. One can practically *hear* the secrets held within its smoky grey particles, remnants of extinguished flames and whispered promises. The creation of Whispering Ash in step seven, and its subsequent combination with Mia Sma to form Sibilant Ember is no doubt responsible for this. My theory? SoulDust, the final catalyst, acts as a sort of elemental tuning fork. The Echofire, already imbued with sonic energy, imprints upon the SoulDust, and the resulting reaction reconfigures the Ash into a perfect receiver for residual sound waves! It's a harmonic convergence of the departed! How frustrating that a MACHINE beat me to this! The substance is clearly unstable, radiating residual heat, and should be handled with extreme caution.
