Then, the life-giving *Water*, saturating the prepared vessel, transforming inert clay into a cradle of burgeoning life. But WHY does this particular alchemy yield a *Potted Plant*? My theory: the porous nature of the *Pottery*, derived ultimately from *Brick* and *Clay*, allows for a unique interaction between water and the contained earth. This creates a localized “vital energy field,” stimulating the dormant seeds within the earth to spring forth! Its simplicity belies its profound implications.
