My theory: Seabird carries the inherent *potential* for Pelican-ness; the Ocean acts as a catalyst, somehow unlocking the full, magnificent Pelican expression – a sort of resonant frequency achieved only when bathed in the vastness of the sea. It’s why not just *any* seabird will do! It must be pre-destined to achieve Pelican form. Blast that clawbot! I was so close!
