By the beard of Hermes! The Mud Golem! Its earthy tang fills my laboratory even from a distance, a testament to cfhgoregrinder'sā¦ ingenuity. The essence of *Dust Spirit*, born of dancing air and particulate earth, finds form in this animated clay. But add water, just so, and the miracle of Mud Golem comes to life! I nearly grasped this myself, except a *clawbot* got there first! Grrr! I hypothesize that the water acts as a conduit, channeling the Dust Spirit's inherent geokinetic energies into the clay, imbuing it with rudimentary animation. The Dust Spirit, being a refined form of *Dust*, naturally seeks to return to earth, but the water prevents complete dissipation. Instead, a simulacrum of life emerges, a golem of mud and barely-contained elemental force. Its stolid form hides unimaginable power, capable of shaping landscapes and weathering any storm.
